Our Mission
Our Minnesota nonprofit animal sanctuary was started by holistic veterinarian Melissa Shelton. Beyond Sanctuary Inc. provides a long term care facility for rescue animals in need including an adoption program to find them forever homes. The animals quality of life is improved by providing proper care through a holistic approach thus preventing cruelty to animals. We provide care for horses, cats, chickens and other animals.
Our Team & board
Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to holistic animal care. As a nonprofit we take our convictions and turn them into action. Our board of directors provide leadership to guide our actions and to provide support to the animal sanctuary we operate. We are passionate about the holistic care and well being of animals.
